NEW BUILD – COMPLETE NEW MECHANICAL SYSTEM
3366 156A ST, SURREY
Approx. Mechanical Value: $200,000+
Trades: Mechanical (Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection & Controls)
This project consisted of adding 4 classrooms to the school by means of an expansion. The project included all new plumbing, heating, HVAC, controls and sprinkler works to serve the addition. This project was similar in size and scope to other previously completed projects for the school board. The main difference was the upgrades to the DDC system that JQ was involved with coordinating.
What made this project different: Working between term time within the school to ensure that connections were completed, tested and commissioned meant for a lot of communication and planning in the weeks leading up to the break. Working in this manner allowed all parties a chance to voice their concerns and ensure that everyone was held accountable. This ensured a smooth finish to a great project.
